Day 8.

The end of another amazing day. Today we went to Volcan Mombacho, near Granada. First we all did canopy rides (zip lines), some of us did the "superman" stunt and others even went upside down. After that wonderful adventure we went up to the top of the mountain and hiked the paths of the Mombacho for 1.5 hours. We saw great plants, were in a cloud forest, got rained on and even got to held very tiny green/red frogs. On our way back to Granada we stopped at to view one of the water volcanoes (Laguna de Apoyo) which we will visit in two weeks. While there, Kristina encouraged us all to get horses and go for a ride. So...we each got a horse (and some got very small horses) and went horseback riding through the town. We had our own "gringo parade".

Everyone got back to Granada safe and tired and ready to do homework for tomorrow.
